Anybody else on MLB.tv having some serious picture quality issues on this game?

I really don't understand using Axford in high leverage situations when he is still so erratic. This stinks.

Neither do I. I have to assume it is RR assuming that all Axford needs is a little success to get him back on track. I would rather he get back on track when the game wasn't on the line.

I wonder how long i'd have my job if i kept putting people in very important, magnified situations at work after they failed time and time again... Probably not too long.

I've never heard my black lab laugh before. Most of the time, he sleeps, licks himself, drops the occasional righteous fart...but I could have sworn when Axford came in from the bullpen, I actually heard him snickering.

I do. This has to clear the path for KRod to join the team and Axford sent down. They have what? til the end of the week to make that decision?

I said it, the only reason I would agree with KRod's signing is if when he is called up Axford is sent down. Let's hope it rings true. Such a Waste.

See why I also put the idea of Axford closing in Roenicke's head being that Henderson gets through the 8th and then it's left to Axford in the 9th. Now RRR has to make a decision on what Pitchers to use out of the pen/pinch hitter. Life is thus more difficult for him now.

Seriously, what's it going to take to get Axford out of anything other than mop-up duty? RR seems bound and determined to "let him work through it". Do we need to start vociferously booing him at home as soon as he trots out of the bullpen? I think it may have to come to that.

The manager does not effect the outcomes of games. Our manager is average, no worse than any other manager in MLB.

Out #1,then Maldonado and pinch hitter in the top of the 9th

:laughing :laughing :laughing :laughing :laughing :laughing :laughing :laughing

You know in this day and age knowing how putrid Weeks does in High Leverage situations, wouldn't a sane decision be to pinch hit for him there? Bianchi then Maldanaldo, then if a scoring opportunity is there Lucroy?....I mean having under a .100 Avg in those moments seems very simple choice to make.
