It's so much more fun playing the pirates then the Cards or the Reds......

This is how the Cardinals and Reds feel when they play us.

Man, I find these stupid AT&T Twitter polls sooooo irritating.

Talk about an absolute waste of air time. Is there anyone, even one person who cares?

Ok bullpen, lock down the win here.

What happened to A Ram? Bianchi is in now.

I almost had a heart attack when Braun was in the on deck circle. RRR is going to give me a heart attack.

RRR has been resting ARAM at the end of games ever since he came off the DL.

Thank you, marked! :)

Segura won't keep this pace up, but he's on a pace for 225 hits, 14 triples, 27 home runs, and 59 stolen bases. :laughing

I picked Mike Trout up a week into the season last year, and I picked up Segura two days after the draft. My scouting for baseball prospects has really paid off. I got Matt Harvey and Shelby Moore the same way.

Let Rickie sit if he is going to sit.

I don't like him hitting when he is sitting because he can't hit.

You'd almost be better rolling the dice and letting Gallardo take a couple swings at this point

I'm sure that pinch-hit strike out really helped Rickie get back on track...

Bench him and leave him on the bench for a couple of days, end of story.

Just plain stupid.

Are you primarily interested in beating MLB fans to the punch on youngsters for your fantasy league or are you generally interested in following prospects? I ask because I see you post quite a bit about prospects on the MLB side of the forum but I don't recall you posting on the MiLB/Draft side at all?

We have Aoki, Gomez and Segura 1-3. Have we ever had that kind of speed atop a lineup before?

Aoki RF

Gomez CF

Segura SS

Braun LF

Ramirez 3B

Hart 1B

Lucroy C

Weeks 2B

Gallardo or Peralta P

How many runs could that lineup score? LOL

I'm a big time prospect watcher. I started collecting baseball cards again a little under 3 years ago, and 95% of what I've purchased have been Bowman Chrome prospect autos. I subscribe to Baseball America, and follow Baseball Prospect Nation (as well as Jonathan Mayo's Top 100 prospect list) religiously. I also hop around a lot on the Roku/MLB.tv premium, and watch spring training games/non Brewer games.

I post on sportscardforum.com as lambeausouth, and net54baseball.com also as 'the stache. I'm about to get my vintage collection in high gear, too.

Here's a thread on SCF with the prospect autos I've collected since coming back.

I haven't really checked out the draft board here yet. I should, and will, do that.

Picking up youngsters on my fantasy team is just a perk. :tongue I got Trout and Matt Moore last year, and this year I've picked up Shelby Miller, Matt Harvey, Starling Marte, Segura and Oscar Taveras is sitting on my inactive list for when he comes up.

Your contributions would be welcome on the draft and minor league forums as well, can never have enough educated fans talking prospects.

As for Taveras you're going to be waiting a while, unless one of the oldies in the OF for STL gets hurt, then you're golden.

I'll jump over there and start posting, TheCrew. I find that watching prospects just adds another level of enjoyment to my collection, my watching of baseball, and my fantasy baseball play.

Ya, I might be waiting a while for Taveras, but since we can carry 5 inactive players without it counting towards our max roster size, he's worth holding on to. It only counts towards our maximum roster moves for the season (60), so there's really no penalty. I saw he twisted his ankle, so he'll get some rest for a while. I wouldn't be surprised to see him up sometime after the All Star break.

I just started getting in the first of my 2013 Bowman Chromes. Taijuan Walker came in, Oswaldo Arcia will be in tomorrow.

I picked up Jose Fernandez for my roster last night. He should be a nice depth move. Right now, I'm running this rotation:

Matt Moore

Shelby Miller

Madison Bumgarner

Matt Cain

Matt Harvey

Chris Sale

Hyun-Jin Ryu

Jose Fernandez

Derek Holland

I think some time off would be good for him mentally. give the guy a long break and then let him comeback. there's a good chance all of this failure has gotten to him.
