Bullpen has been atrocious in the last two games. We outscored them yesterday, but today feels like a game we gave away, barring a comeback here.

Sure would be nice if our lefty specialist could actually GET A LEFTY OUT for a change.

I understand Weeks and his offensive potential, and the fact he's locked up for 2 years for 20 million... but with Scooter hitting .400+ in AAA, I seriously cannot understand HOW WEEKS IS PLAYING EVERY DAMN GAME!!!!!@$%!@$%@%@$#^

On the bright side, it will be more fun when we win this game.

While I hope you're right, I'm not feeling it. Axford blowing games just sucks the life right out of me, I'm so tired of seeing it.

Remember when the Pirates were really pathetic and they would have never come back to take the lead in this game? I miss those days already. Still have two innings to come back but two out of three isn't bad I guess.

Torts beat me to that comment.

How in hell can Ned...I mean, Ron, sorry they're becoming tough to tell apart, continue to send in at BEST a mop-up man when the game's on the line. Axford panics when the chips are down. Even dopes like me can see that. Yet Ronnicky keeps sending him out there

Dumb-ass

Motor, I hate Axford, but Ronnicky maybe even more

Gorzo has been fine...Gonzalez was the one he brought in to throw an 0-2 hanger up there. Axford has given up hits on 0-2, 0-2, 0-2 and 1-2 in his last two outings. Gonzalez another on 0-2.

Alright...moving on. Get a bloop and a blast here please.

Was gamecast wrong or did Pitt just let their pitcher sac bunt (and fail) and then take him out for a reliever the next half inning?

A very RRR-like move.

Who else should have he sent out there for the 8th?

Prior to today's game, Axford had given up only one run in his last 8 appearances and it's not like there was another more obvious option.

Any reminder of last season is a life sucker, I feel your pain.

I know the Brewers are paying Axford 5 million, but he's not going to be the same pitcher that was worth that kind of money. The Brewers need to look at this as a plus, meaning next season they wont have to pay him that 5 million or more if they trade him or cut him. Time to try some of the young players.

Running Lalli out there to PH over Maldonado seems like RRR waving the white flag. But that's just me.

pure silliness.

1. Who's going to trade for Axford and take the salary?

2. If he's cut, he still gets the money - it's guaranteed.
