I missed the game, but it's really good to see Rickie break out of it. 23 total pitches in his 5 at bats. I hope this is the start of a rebound for him. I really want to see him do well.

8 homers in two games. I like it!!

There are three things America will be known for 2000 years from now when they study this civilization: the Constitution, jazz music and baseball. They're the three most beautifully designed things this culture has ever produced. Gerald Early

Ender - just curious why you think Weeks isn't humble. Not a jab, just don't know how much I've heard that. I know he never wants to sit, even when struggling but I think that's because he'd rather play his way out of it.

Great game! Started falling asleep late, that one tool awhile for an east coast time zoner. Lets get the sweep now and keep these guys down as long as we can. Pirates are playing good ball but for some reason we just keep out playing them. Love it.

Rickie Weeks is just a class act. I can't not root my butt off for the guy. So glad to see him with a (hopeful) slumpbuster game tonight.

When he gets asked questions about his individual success, he always answers about hard work & being part of a team. When he gets asked about a team being hot, he answers about hard work & putting it in every day no matter the result of the previous game. When he's struggling, he answers about working hard every day & staying focused. Just everything you want in a leader. And yes I know these are sports clichés, but when Rickie talks about them I don't hear just PR-speak.

Absolutely. Well stated.

This is why he is my favorite Brewer. He is a quality human being which makes me root for him even more than i already would.

Sounds more like a guy who has been drilled on what to say to the media more than being unselfish to be honest. He does not strike me as one of the more humble guys on the team.

I agree with you about 95% of the time, but then you say some things that are just so odd to me. Why on earth would he strike you as not humble?
