"And Segura bails out Rickie Weeks. This guy has incredible instincts, knowing that Weeks was going to struggle with that popup." Well said, BA.

Looks like the fielders from center to right have been battling the sun. Segura had a better line of sight.

Looks like Kershaw is throwing another gem today.

when escobar came up he was known as a potential defensive wiz while segura a secon bademan soon to be. i may be wrong but segura in 3 months as shown more than alcides in that year in the bigs. i am amazed.

Actually, Escobar is having a pretty good year so far...

Kershaw was just on after the first inning, Weeks bloop double notwithstanding. Lohse with another hard luck loss.

I think the next few weeks will tell us a lot about this team, with a divisional heavy schedule both at home and on the road. Getting Ramirez healthy should help, and maybe Braun can get a little more locked in at the dish.

Go Crew!

Kershaw wasn't really on for the first half of the game, his location was all over the place and we kept bailing him out by swinging at bad pitches. I don't completely blame us since the ump was calling a pretty large strike zone. It doesn't take his best stuff for someone like Kershaw to have a dominating game though.
