My understanding is if it hits the foul poll, it's a homerun. Doesn't matter which side, or which way the ball bounces.

I thought BA had a good point that it could have bounced to the left if it hit right on the corner. The ball was hooking so it has momentum that way.

True it could have gone to left but it would have bounced left but also back towards the field which it did not

Foul "pole" is attached to the east (actually both) sides of the building, is it not? :)

On another note, Gonzalez is now hitting .122 and doesn't run out ground balls. No reason for him to be playing anymore. Inexcusable.

This. Even if Lalli or Prince are absolutely terrible you know they'll at least be busting their butts to suck.

Come on Rickie, try to get a hit. Remember how to do that?

Okay Gonzalez dogging it to first base didn't get enough outrage here. Completely unacceptable. I can understand that all players dog it in a fly ball situation, or a sharp hit ball to the short stop with nobody on, but when there's a runner at second you never know if he's going to break toward third... Maybe he gets into a rundown... But slamming the bat down and crying on your way to first like that? Completely lost respect for him.

Ryan Braun has got to love having Segura batting in front of him. With Jean's speed, how many times will he be in scoring position for Brauny? Wow.

I agree. I am done with Gonzo. He can be benched.

Brauny at .302 now, with 6 HR 19 RBI in 18 games. Wow.
