Topper thanks for bringing this up. I didn't bother looking up the rule, because I assume when Bill Schroeder states, without any hesitation, that only one foot needs to be in the box, that he knows what he is talking about. I really hope on the next telecast that he owns up to his mistake.

Ouch omg. Sorry but so many questions..Isn't the ump a bit out of position? How poor is the catcher's reaction to that pitch? Feet weigh a ton or what? Doesn't move in any way to block/stop that pitch. Was this intentional? Missed that strike three call so bean the ump if the batter doesn't crush the pitch?

The ball was tipped by the batter. You can see it bounce on the ground. That is why the catcher missed it.
