Wow what has happened to Rickie Weeks? He's just awful now. Can't hit, poor approach, bad baserunning, slow, poor defense. It's like the guy has fallen apart completely since his injury. He was killing it in 2009, 2010, and half of 2011. After that injury he has been awful. Do you guys think it is time to look for a replacement?

Weeks is having a bad game today but has been pretty good this year compared to the rest of the team. If he doesn't have a good year this year I think the Brewers will make sure he doesn't get 600 plate appearances in 2014 so his option doesn't vest for 2015.

This post is just baffling. I'm just going to ignore it and hope it goes away.

Rickie was fine in the second half of 2012 and is hitting .286 through today's 0-4. Despite a few ugly ABs and missteps in the field...it's only been one week! He's not even on the top 100 list of this team's issues yet fans are starting to bag on the guy. Good lord, this team is starting one of the historically worst every day players in MLB history in Yuniesky Betancourt at 1B & 3B and I'm not sure that's even in this team's top 10 problem list.

Is this a Gobias Industries sockpuppet?

It's a little early to say Weeks is awful now. He had a bad base running blunder in the opening series, but he hit well against the Rockies.

I think the Rickie post was a joke. Pretty sure. It has to be.

What he's saying is... fans can be very reactionary. Yes, they can.

It was over the top but at some point the discussion will have to take place, no matter what people may want to believe he did have a bad year last year. Hopefully it was injury related and he will have a good year again in 2013.

It will? Hasn't Weeks been one of - if not THE best hitter on the team so far this season? You can put me in the camp that thinks he's a great player as long as he's healthy.

And the only reason I'm referencing his hot start is because it's a little less ridiculous than judging him based on his ONE BAD GAME today.

So I want to make a positive comment about player on our team who bats ninth but every time I talk about these types of players, something bad happens. So I won't. Any suggestions on how I can beat this bad mojo, or some good code speak I can use?
