Is there any interest in playing 'daily' fantasy baseball leagues at FanDuel? We can either play for money or for free (bragging rights), and post results of each day here. Now, I'm not saying we play every day because personally I don't have time to do that. But that is the beauty of daily fantasy leagues. If you're not familiar with it, these contests last one day only! Pick your ultimate team while staying under a salary cap, then watch live scoring throughout that day. If it's a paid contest, winnings are deposited into your account the next day.

 

I don't want to sound like a saleperson for them (which I'm not), but FanDuel pays out $2 mil in prizes a week! This is what fantasy sports has evolved to. No more watching your team struggle all year long, especially true for the long baseball season.

 

I would like to do every Friday, or every Saturday since every team plays those days. We could do 2 days a week (Wednesday/Friday or Friday/Saturday). We'll start with just free contests (bragging rights) for now. This can be discussed if there is a lot of interest, but for now I'll setup leagues for Friday nights.

Dyne--I play on fan duel usually two or three days a week already so I am definitely in. I'm on my phone now so I can't pm you (or I just don't know how to) right now but I will get to you later tonight.

 

If you haven't played in a daily league, it's certainly worth giving a shot, especially in a free league. One warning though is during the free MLB extra innings package you may find yourself trying to watch every game possible!

Played a couple 1v1 games but I did just ok. Minor was great, got a win and went 7 IP w/ 7 Ks. My cheap guys in Solano and Francisco were serviceable, and Reyes was awesome going 4/5 with 2 RBIs 2 doubles and home run. Montero and Braun hurt me though, didn't realize he was gonna be out until it was too late.

Blancofan had the top scoring pitcher of the day, Dan Straily. But I was able to get ya by a couple points

Wow, one of the worst days I've ever had since playing FanDuel 2 years ago. Pitcher was great but didn't get the win. Thought I had great matchups for my hitters but they did nothing.
