For PCL teams, the miles add up

 

It boggles my mind that when the American Association folded in '97, that another league of sorts made up of the mideast / central states couldn't be formed. Among 30 MLB teams, you could easily make the case for a 10-10-10 or 10-8-12 split among three AAA leagues. You could even mix in the rare "interleague" games. What a travel nightmare the PCL is, just don't think that can be understated.
