We will probably be welcoming Billy Hall or Russell Branyan back tomorrow...

 

At least those guys were likable.

I think in some weird way Yuni will be a fan favorite and get a decent ovation this weekend and on opening day.

To be fair to YuBet... the hate was one-sided. Fans had a hate for him but he didn't seem to retaliate with anything but appreciation to the Brewers. I don't mind the move as long as he doesn't start. I'd rather have him as the back up until Hart comes back over Murphy.

I also smell a deal cooking involving Gonzalez to a team needing a SS for an actual 1B. Brewers and Gonzalez could have had an understanding that if a team inquired about him to start, that the Brewers would try and move him.

 

I think it is plausible that Gonzalez would express interest in going elsewhere if a starting opportunity comes available. Maybe not until some injuries begin to occur to starting SS, but he may have surprisingly good trade value if the Brewers decided to go that route.

Not just “at Night” anymore.
