All Things Yuni

The Brewers have fared well overall against Chacin. Braun, though, has been owned. 0-6 with 3 K's.

I've got it. MLB encouraged COL to make Chacin the starter *specifically* to make Ryan Braun look bad. Yeah, that's it.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

best gif to go with the statement of "Brewers sign Yuni B to a Major League contract"

This makes perfect sense. How can Gonzalez backup short when he's our starting 1B? I know, I know, a traditional GM would have actually plugged the real whole and got a 1B to replace Hart and had Gonzalez be the backup MI. However, Doug once again shows us how he is that dynamic out of the box thinker by leaving the stinker at 1B and getting a wanker to backup the infield. Really unique, what other GM would be so *innovative*....

I'm anxious to see Yuni B lift that big fat first pitch. His pop ups are beautiful. Usually on the first pitch too. I'll never forget it.

Yuni has never faced Chacin.

I think you meant Yuni B has never faced Chacin but is somehow 0-3 with 3 first pitch pop up outs

And great gifs everyone - this thread is hysterical

As soon as I saw this today, I cracked a huge smile and started the thread. I may mail Doug Melvin a Thank You card on this one, he could've signed any guy to fill a bench spot for a while, but he chose THIS guy...simply wonderful.

I wonder who's coming in tomorrow....

"I was a little surprised they didn't keep him," said Melvin. "People who saw him said he was playing well."

I'm still trying to figure out if he's being serious or if this is typical GM Doug Melvin talk.
