PrinceEatMeat, check out this bomb from Manny Ramirez. I don't know which is more impressive. Both just amazing bombs.

There are three things America will be known for 2000 years from now when they study this civilization: the Constitution, jazz music and baseball. They're the three most beautifully designed things this culture has ever produced. Gerald Early

Let's see if they finally figure out the power of YouTube and actually let people post MLB videos there.

I also must mention the 30 second ads on mlb.com videos that you have no way of skipping. That doesn't make me want to buy your product. It makes me want to go out and tell people how annoying your ads are and how much your product sucks.

"Low fastball, and Cecil Fielder got it all, folks. Up on the roof."

"They oughta write a song like that -- oh, they already have."

I wish they had the Rob Deer shot that exited OVER County Stadium. I was 2 and it was the day my brother was born. My dad talks about that shot from time to time, but I've never seen it.

I don't remember when exactly this was, but I recall a game at County Stadium when I was a kid where Vaughn launched one out over the LF bleachers. I didn't know about Deer doing it, too, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised. :)

My favorite part of that clip is that it came off of Chris Carpenter.

I was about to say the same thing. :)

I watched it earlier and don't have the link handy, but I really enjoyed watching Scrap Iron go after Terry Bevington during a Brewers-White Sox game back in the mid 90's. RR is fine, but after the Macha years I really started wishing that we had a manager with a little fire like Garner.
