Blackhawks. That is all.

Boo Blackhawks. It's amazing how bad Nashville's offense is. Averaging 2 goals per game (and really it's less than that because they were given 2 goals for 2 shootout wins) yet amazingly they have a 7-3-4 record. Pekka Rinne is a damn beast. I wonder if Ryan Suter misses Nashville yet. :)

Crazy finish to the Admirals game last night as well.

Wings are playing a LOT better than i expected them to so far. Damien Brunner has really been a wonderful surprise. I expected him to play well, but to be tied for the team lead in goals on a team that has Zetterberg and Datsyuk is very impressive. I'd really like Mrazek to get some more chances in goal, not to mention anybody who has Peter Griffen on their mask automatically gets points from me. Jimmy Howard has been ok, but nothing special.

Blackhawks. That is all.

Very impressive start to a sprint of a season. Points from every game, winning the vast majority of them. Would like to see that dominance that runs through June.

14 - 0 - 3

At least a point in each game to start the year. A new NHL record. Here come the 'Hawks!

So, you're a Brewers fan, and probably hate the Cubs and their d-bag fans like any self-respecting Crew fan would, and you're probably a Packers fan and hate the Bears and their d-bag fans, but you're proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with those same d-bags and root for their Chicago hockey team? That's unconscionable. I could never, ever stomach that.

I never followed hockey growing up so never really had an allegiance to anyone. Thought it'd be fun to join the crowd in at least one sport in this city. And lots of people root for Wisconsin and the Cubs. Lots root for Green Bay and the Cubs. Lots root for the Bears and Wisconsin. Not that unusual.

It's completely different IMO because we have never had an NHL. And they are the closest thing to us.

That's ok, about 80% of Blackhawk fans didn't have an allegiance until 2010. :laughing

My disdain of Bears/Cubs fans prohibits me from rooting for any Chicago team. I just can't root for a team knowing that 90% of the fans around me root for the bears in the fall and the Cubs in the summer. That, and seeing all the Kane and Toews jerseys magically start springing up in 2011 got under my skin. "I've been a Hawks fan my entire life! 'TOES' is my favorite player!" "You mean Toews?" "Whatever! Wooo!" :rolleyes Sure, there are some diehards out there who sat through the Dollar Bill years(and much respect is given to them), but the majority of the fan base now are the same front runners who jumped on the cubs bandwagon in 2003. Not my cup of tea.

I also am a huge Blackhawks fan living in Milwaukee. As a kid I listened to the games on my clock radio when I went to bed, I'm now going on 25 years as a fan.

It does bug me to know I'm rooting side-by-side with hated Cubs fans, but at the same time, I hate the Packers and manage to co-exist with their fans who are also Brewers fans.

This Blackhawks streak is sort of ridiculous.

I keep expecting them to have an off night and it hasn't happened yet. Let's just hope this isn't the only highlight of their season...as much fun as this is, I want the Cup.

Chicago can win all they want in the regular season, as long as they don't win the Cup. Penguins offense is looking great, but the D sucks. They've made a couple of changes, so hopefully they can help Fleury out.

Yeah, Anaheim is really good. I mean as great as Chicago has been they're a bad week away from a 2 seed.

Anyone still following the playoffs? Toronto tied up the series with Boston. Headed to Beantown for game 7. I'll be rooting for them. That town would go absolutely zonkers if they ever won a Cup.

Didn't they win it in 2011? But I am looking forward to the game 7 tomorrow, should be a good one. Red Wings are leading Anaheim 3-1 in the 2nd period of game 7, see if they can hold on.

Boston did. He's talking about if Toronto won.

I've been watching pretty much all the games. Love seeing St. Louis lose. Sucks that Detroit and Chicago have to match up. I hate both teams but Chelsea Dagger annoys the hell out of me an I don't hate Detroit fans, so go Wings. I think Ottawa takes out Pittsburgh as well.

Wow, what a choke job by Toronto. Bruins score 3 in the third to tie it and then win in OT. Sorta sick of the Bruins was looking for some new blood. Poor Leafs fans.

Stanley Cup Finals are set: Chicago vs. Boston in an Original Six showdown.

Looking forward to that matchup. Different styles of hockey should be on display: Boston being a more physical team, while Chicago is more of a skill and speed team.

There's a bit more intrigue to the finals this year, since there were no cross-conference games due to the lockout-shortened schedule. That makes it hard to gauge which conference was better, and the teams in the finals are playing against each other for the first time this season.

Won't make a prediction, but I'm pulling for my Blackhawks to win.
