says 90MPH fastball tops at 95. MLB legitimate out pitch on a changeup.

I'm surprised 6year deal at 36mil. This could be an amazing arm for Dodgers at that price for his 26-32years. I would have thought more in line of 4years so he'd be a FA at 30 and chance at bigger payday. Plus he had Boras as his client. Then again maybe that 90MPH Fastball will be a dud Homer ball in MLB and he doesn't last beyond a 2nd season.

Though they're paying him $36MM, they also paid his Korean team $25.7MM, so he's really going to cost $61.7MM over 6 years. That's a sizable gamble and would horrify me if the Brewers made that move. Lucky for them, their ownership seems to have bottomless pockets.

It's a lot of money overall but $10 million a year won't buy you much of a starter in free agency, especially in 4 or 5 years.

I thought I read that the posting fee was $30M. Granted, if that's true, it means nothing to the Dodgers since they have apparently infinite pockets. But the posting fee shouldn't be completely glossed over in analyzing this deal.
