Don't like this draw for UW at all. UW struggles with perimeter D (see Wragge, Ethan and Gatens, Matt), and Henderson is one of the best outside shooters in the game. If they get by Ole Miss they get Kansas State and the game is in Kansas City - will be almost like a home game for KSU.

Interesting that they give Marquette a potential rematch against Butler in the 2nd round; hopefully Marquette can exact some revenge on Butler for making that last-second prayer.

Henderson is the very definition of volume shooter. He's only at 35% from beyond the arc. Brust, Dekker, and even Marshall are better than that. Now he's the kind of guy that can get hot and carry a team but UW is one of the best perimeter defensive teams in the country. Plus Ole Miss plays FAST. I'd be willing to bet that the half court game will totally confuse them.

And KU will be playing in KC as well so it's possible they root against KSU.

Everyone will hate Marshall Henderson from Ole Miss:

Best part of this gif is the security guard.

Like the draw for both teams to get to the Sweet 16 at least. Henderson seems like some of the scorers that UW has bottled up in recent years in the tourney. He shoots over ten threes a game! And then the chance to knock out Kansas State for the third time in something like seven years.

Nah, the best part is the dude with the beard and glasses sitting at the table.

There are like a hundred best parts to that gif:

- the old guy in the orange sweater who stands up to confront him

- the security guy in the white polo with the creepy smile

- the comic book guy from The Simpsons on press row

- the big flying white thing that hits a poor girl in the head (and scares the bejeebus out of a girl behind her)

My first bracket has Michigan St, New Mexico, Florida, and Miami in the Final 4. I have New Mexico beating UW in the Elite 8. Michigan State beats Florida in a rematch of the 2000 Championship.

Really tough bracket to fill out; I am sure I will change my mind a couple more times before Thursday

Yeah I don't think many people are going to be happy with what they fill out.

Davidson is a really tough 14 seed for Marquette to draw. They came within 5 of UNM, hung tight with Duke for a half, and played Gonzaga competitively.

The Midwest and South are both really strong. Kansas could have to beat UNC, Michigan, and UF/Georgetown to advance.

I could easily see Wisconsin advancing the the final four in this bracket. I'll probably take Gonzaga out of that region, but it's a tough one.

I can't wait until Thursday. This is going to be a great tourney.

I got Louisville, Gonzaga, Florida and Marquette. Louisville and Marquette in the championship with Louisville winning it all. Doubt it will happen, but that's from watching about 4 whole games in total this year and following as much as I could online.

Davidson have also won their last 17 games. Tough draw for Marquette in terms of a 3-14 matchup.

I agree this is going to be a great tournament. I haven't gotten my final four done yet....I don't know what to do?

Anyone ever use teamrankings.com? I used that every year until they went to a pay site a few years back. They would give percentage chance for each team to advance to each round. I would use a combination of that and my hunches to pick my brackets. It was a great tool to have.

read an interesting article last night that suggesting taking a teams average margin of victory multiplied by the conference RPI so determine who wins any matchup. If this is done, the final 4 would be Indiana, Gonzaga, Florida, and Louisville, with Indiana beating Gonzaga in the championship.

I also decided I was going to do a modified coin flip bracket. For example in a 5-12 matchup, if heads came up 6 times before tails came up 13, the 5 seed advanced. I got a final 4 of Georgetown, Indiana, Gonzaga, and Louisville, with Indiana beating Gonzaga again.

looks like I have to take Indiana over Gonzaga.

So yeah I had NM in the Final 4.

Also what the heck Akron and Montana? Are you kidding me?

The way that region is shaking out; I am also really liking UW's chances. Gonzaga did not look like a 1 seed yesterday. A UW/OSU Elite 8 match up would be pretty sweet. Pretty even match up but to lose that game would be pretty heartbreaking

9 out of 16 in the first day for me. Pretty typical. I picked against all the B1G teams playing, so that hurt. But, I have no money on it, and it's been fun to watch today. The Badger game should be good....just depends on which Badger team shows up.

I still really like the Ole Miss match up for UW. But they can still lose if they play like they did against Purdue. Either way I am almost guaranteed to swear at Henderson at least 3 times today.

So far the Pac 12 looks underrated and the MWC very much over rated. The B10's more competitive games are today; lets see how they do (UW vs. Ole Miss, Ill vs. Colorado, MN vs UCLA)

Oh, no kidding. What a punk. Irritating for the sake of being irritating is never cool.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

It was cool to see 2 Wisconsin guys in Vander Blue and Jamil Wilson take over the game for Marquette. Amazing ending to that game. Hopefully they ride this wave, and start shooting better. I also thought Chris Otule played really well, and if weren't for him they would'nt have had any chance.

Now hopefully Wisconsin can shut up Marshall Henderson today.
