The Sox seem to have holes at 3B and catcher after re-signing Peavy and picking up Floyd's option. They don't figure to bring back AJ, and they didn't pick up Youkilis' option. Neither of those spots has much on the FA market. One thing the Sox do have is some young relief pitching. Seems to me they could us a LH bat to replace AJ's production. Gamel might be a guy they'd have interest in, if they think he can play 3B. Nate Jones would be a nice target for the Brewers as would lefties Hector Santiago and Donnie Veal.
