MLB.com Jerseys

Anyone buy a personalized replica jersey from MLB.com? If so what has your experience been with the jersey? Are you satisfied with the quality and the name and number on the back of the jersey? Obviously, it isn't the authentic jersey but I am too slightly built (need a 38) to fit into the smallest size (40) they sell for the authentic jersey. Any feedback would help.

Quality will be the same as the stock player replicas; the printed twill, not the thee-layer stuff. Not really worth it unless you have your heart set on it being personalized.

For about the same price you can get a replica on eBay and have it customized at Miller Park.

Have you tried on a size 40 authentic, by the way? They run small and wouldn't be that much different in size than a medium replica.

Search ptfsports on eBay, they deal in legitimate authentics and they usually sell cheap.

Thanks for the feedback Hitman.

It doesn't necessarily need to be personalized, it is more the size issue for me. I would prefer to buy the authentic but do not fit the size 40 authentic. Medium replicas run large on me as well. When you say it isn't really worth it, do you mean the replica jersey itself isn't worth it or having it personalized isn't worth it? If it is the former, then I would be more apt to just not buy a jersey period. If it is the latter, since it is my only option to have a jersey that would fit, I would tolerate it because they apparently don't make 38 authentics.

When I say it's not worth it I mean the mlb price. The quality is good, though. Small replicas tend to sell around $25-$30 on eBay. So if you're not looking for a personalized jersey, that's the way to go.

Incidently, I have a small replica, white Weeks and/or blue Braun that I'd sell. You can pm me is you're interested.

Bulk up, add some distance to your long fly balls, change your username, buy size 40, and done.
