Sit Weeks on the bench, that was the worst hustle I have seen from an MLBer in a while

We must be watching a different game because I saw Weeks hustling all the way back to first. The problem was that he had run wayyy to far towards 2nd to get back.

Braun is not leading the league in SLG, right now G Stanton is.

Stanton might not qualify. He'd need 503 plate appearances by the end of the season. It will be close. Of course, Braun could crank a few homers in the final 4 games, and make it a moot discussion.

They can add outs until he qualifies, doing that right now he leads Braun. The Cabrera thing only applies to players who were suspended.

He did not hustle back to the base at all, he was jogging at best. Even BA said bad baserunning from Weeks which is code for: that was horrible baserunning but Im not allowed to criticize the Brewers on the air

It was bad base running because Weeks was 15 feet from 2B when a pop up was caught by a middle infielder. It was a mental error.

Stanton could hit a few more homers too....just sayin'

These double plays suck.

Weeks was thrown out at first by a step or two and lollygagged back to the base, even though he went to far he could have made it back if he would have ran.

The announcers just talked about how Weeks apparently didn't know where the ball was and couldn't get back in time. When the runner was 75 feet from 2B when the infielder catches the pop up, you shouldn't be surprised when he has no chance of getting back.

I guess we are going to have to agree to disagree but either way, Weeks has never been one to not play 100%, so calling for his benching is pretty over the top , IMO.

4 seem fastball at 88 mph is not good.

Just like Marcum last year it has been pretty obvious Fiers has been done for the last month and RRR has absolutely NO clue. He just keeps proving he doesn't know anything about baseball and his only asset is that the players like him.
