Considering they just announced that Peralta is officially done for the year I would say the end has already came. Hernandez,Stinson or Thornburg all options to start Tuesday. That being said,I like the move. Protect our young arms for next year.

Was that sort of a backhanded comment by Melvin? Brian mentioned to him that Hart has said he wanted to stay, and Melvin said, "Yeah, I've heard that from players before. One of them is a Yankee now, and one is an Angel".

I'm sure he didn't mean anything by it, but the response kind of caught me off guard.

Very refreshing. Doug knows talk is cheap.

Final season line on Estrada: 5-7, 3.67 ERA.

Not bad for a guy who wasn't in the rotation to start the season and was never really seen as a starting pitching prospect by anybody.

EDIT: Check that, 3.64. Didn't think there was any way they were going to send him back out for the 8th, but he sure did give the Brewers something to think about for their rotation next year.

Headley with a 3 run HR to tie Braun for the RBI lead again.

Darn it, I want Braun to win the RBI and HR title, and Weeks just doesn't get on enough for him to do it. It seems every time Braun gets a hit recently, it's either leading off an inning, or there's nobody on.

How about a nice 3-run homer here, Brauny :) So, Nori and Rickie to get on!

Further proof Roenicke is an idiot. We get two on with Braun due to hit, and Roenicke pinch hits for him.

I've never seen a manager pull as many players late in the game as Roenicke does.

I was wondering the same thing... For crying out loud, let Braun compete for the RBI crown, which could lead to another MVP.

LOLivan. Let this be his final appearance in a Milwaukee Brewers uniform.

I'd laugh and laugh some more if the bullpen blows up, and Ron's got Braun and Ramirez on the bench. Won't happen, but I kinda wish it would.
