I am following on espn.com (since my mlb gamecast is slow at work) and it says that Bernadina and Aoki were both out on "batter's interference to the catcher." What happened on these?

Bernadina bunted and dropped his bat on top of the ball on the way to first. Aoki bunted towards first and the ball hit him as he ran to first.
