Yo and Wily are saying "we don't need no stinking Greinke"!

And Brauny might get 30-30 yet. Hell, he might get it tonight at this rate. :laughing

There are three things America will be known for 2000 years from now when they study this civilization: the Constitution, jazz music and baseball. They're the three most beautifully designed things this culture has ever produced. Gerald Early

I am also excited, so this isn't meant to sound negative, but...

It wasn't too long ago that we were all convinced that Fiers was the second coming, now that he has cooled, Peralta has taken over the role of the chosen one... My point is, all these young guys are going to have ups and downs to their season.

We can't realistically expect Fiers, Peralta and Rogers to fullfill the expectations that surely will be placed on them next season. They are going to have their rough patches, that goes without saying, so we need to remember that.

I am not in the Estrada can come in and be our #2 camp either, not #3, and not a #4 either.

I for one would still love to entertain the idea of bringing Greinke back as I think we are still going to be short reliable starting pitching next season.

We will have Yo, but after him, there are still a lot of questions to be answered...

Carry on!

True, although Fiers was a 27-year-old non-prospect drafted in the 22nd round, while coming into this season Peralta was a 22-year-old widely considered one of the better pitching prospects in baseball.
