In semi related news, it appears the Dodgers have been dealt a huge blow. Kershaw may be done or the season with a torn labrum.

Source? All I've read is that he'll miss at least a start with hip inflammation. I haven't heard anything about a torn labrum.

Just think: up to 80,000 people are watching the Badgers at Camp Randall like a sucker. (Wisconsin is losing to Utah State 14-3 at the half.)

Come on, Brewers, earn yourselves a column inch in the bottom corner of tomorrow's sports sections!

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

MLB tweet.

BREAKING: Clayton Kershaw to miss Sunday start, @Dodgers fear he needs season-ending surgery for torn labrum in hip: http://t.co/BDWBy7TA -- MLB (@MLB)

Thanks, that makes it much more clear. I didn't realize there was another labrum in the hip. I had assumed you were referring to a shoulder labrum. Nonetheless, the Dodgers need to beat the Cards! We can only hope Chris Carpenter will have to explain something to his son when he comes back to pitch. :rolleyes

Is there anyone who we can have start when it's Marcum's turn again? Especially if we are really going to make any kind of run at a wild card spot, I just don't want to see him out there. I am sure he is a wonderful person, but I have absolutely no faith in him to give us a quality start in crunch time.

No way "Marcy" gets benched...

I'm with you, skipping him at least once should be done, but I have no faith that RR will see things that way.

Read that as Marcy like the girl's name and got confused for a second. :laughing
