Yeah, you can count me in on the 'see ya later Shawn" bandwagon. Need a good start, and he gets shellacked. Just like the playoffs last year. I'm totally in the 'no such thing as measurable clutch' camp, but when the Brewers have absolutely NEEDED him to perform, he has disappeared.

Get him out of there, Roenicke. He is serving up batting practice. This game is too important to let Marcum screw up!!!! :angry

Dumb question guys, but does Ueck's call legally stream anywhere on the internet? Thanks in advance.

On mlb.com for $15-20 per year.

Warning: It comes with TMJ's ads, like the Marshfield Clinic ads. Sometimes when I mute the Marshfield ads I forget to turn the volume back on before the inning starts.

I'm not sure we can expect Marcum to pitch very effectively the rest of this year to be honest. He was out a long time, for him to come right back and be 100% is asking too much imo.

The real question right now is, if he can't be effective, should he be starting for us while we still have a remote chance to be in this thing? If he continues to stink it up, we should be letting someone else take his turn in the rotation. Typically, our manager tends to stick with guys far too long before making tough decisions like when to give up on a guy for the year.

After 4 very crappy starts in a row now, it may be time to skip a start and let someone who is healthy take is place. If we have any chance this year, every game is important, every game must be played to the best of our ability. If we continue to give away one start in every 5, our chances get a lot worse.
