I have a sneaky suspicion that even if we get close to making some real noise, the bullpen is going to blow our chances anyway.

 

I just don't think that the make-up of our current bullpen can magically turn things around at this point in the season.

 

Since the bullpen ended our season months ago, I'm sure if given the chance, they will drive the final nail in our coffin at some time from now until the end of the season.

 

They just suck, no getting around it.

We're down 4 runs in the ninth, and Morgan swings and misses three times. He needs to be smarter than that, but he's not. He doesn't provide us anything that Schaffer can't do, and the kid might be better if he's given a chance.

 

.243/.303/.308 is not good.

 

I'm done with Morgan too. I cringe when I see his name in the line-up, or even when he comes in late in games.
