Is anyone with Directv and Extra Innings having issues getting the FSN WI feed? Pirates feed comes in but Brewers feed says not subscribed.

Edit: it just kicked on. Also according to the FSN WI graphic, Morgan is playing CF and RF. :laughing

When a players is trying to steal and leaves with the pitch going to second or third, even if its a passed ball or wild pitch he gets awarded a stolen base. Am I correct?

If so, why when Gomez was leaving with the pitch going home he isn't awarded a steal of home on the passed ball or wild pitch?

Or am I just being dumb?

So Ron, we're even having our position players bunt with 2 strikes now? Awesome.

I highly doubt that was RR's call.

The same thing was said last year about Morgan bunting on his own rather than RR making those calls, and I don't understand the argument. He is the manager -- his bench coach and players are accountable to him, are they not?

I can't think of a situation where bunting with 2 strikes with a position player is ever acceptable, and even if that wasn't called directly by him, I do think it's a result of the culture that he's established.

This run they're on lately is fun, but honestly it's making me kind of sad. Even with all the flaws this just seems like such a waste of a season.

Agreed. And playing spoiler is no fun when the team you're helping is St. Louis.

It's hard to believe, but if K-Rod had not blown that 11-9 lead in the 9th the other day, we would be 6.5 out of the last wild card right now.

Of course, this season is chock-full of "what-ifs".

Not saying it's more than a 1% chance (it was 0.4% for the Rays last year), but Tampa Bay was 9 1/2 games out on September 3 last year.

By the way, looked like a great crowd tonight - really into it. Such a contrast to the attendance debacle in Baltimore, where they're in the wildcard lead, 2 games behind the Yankees in the division, and they're struggling to draw 10,000 a game.

The Brewers have had 8 games they have lost since the All Star break when leading going into the 8th inning... Most were with leads of 2 or more runs... The series in Philly was the worst.

With those 8 games, the Brewers could be 72-60 right now. Maybe even better since I am not including any of the games lost in the late innings prior to the All Star break.

Needless to say, I am still very excited for this team going forward!
