Rock's first MLB hit was a triple in his first game but it came in his 4th AB.

I was telling kalle8 about this during Tuesday's game. Rock's MLB career started in 1983, when I was a teenager and still maintaining a (mostly very dull) diary, and I noted the triple in my diary. Yes.

So, that one Cubs reliever at one point in the 'big' inning had thrown 18 pitches and only 4 for strikes. My goodness.

On the up side, the Kalle party has clinched a "winning" homestand. If only the Brewers had maintained that pace all along.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.
