Milwaukee Bucks 2012/2013

My apologies, the Dalembert 3 came the possession before the Ellis 3. Down 2, Skiles called a timeout and whatever the play was, Dalembert wound up shooting a jumper with about 40 seconds left. How/why did this happen?

The Ellis missed 3 I had no problems with. Sorry for the confusion.

Dally got the ball at the freethrow line, after a pick-n-roll, wide open. He had to take one dribble and dunk the ball. Why he decided "PULL UP JUMPER" I will never know.

He shot 50% on the game. He should be shooting.

He hit 2 cold blooded shots against NO on Saturday. Does he shoot to much at times? Yup. But this is who he is, and on a team that struggles to score at times and a team that plays great defense I have no problem with it.

The reason we struggle to score is because we employ low ts% chuckers in the backcourt. I can live with Jennings because he's an ok defender and a much better outside shooter, but I can't stand watching Monta play. An efficient, low usage SG would do wonders for this team.

ANYTIME Monta shoots a long 2 it's a loss for the Bucks. Smart teams like SA, Mia, and OKC employ their whole defensive strategy around that premise.

Smart teams like SA, Mia and OKC also have superstar players which the Bucks do not have.

Ellis went full chucker mode down late and against in OT, and everything good I said about him last post he does this and makes it a moot point.

That was a game the Bucks could of won, despite shooting a terrible 5-29 from 3PT. The ref's were terrible as usual, the Heat shot 33 FT and the Bucks shot 12. Now obviously, when you have LeBron James and Dwayne Wade you are going to get more free throw chances but come on. Monta Ellis gets fouled at least 2 or 3 times a game and it doesn't get called. Just because he is still quick enough to get the shot up, doesn't mean he isn't getting fouled. On the foul Sanders got ejected, that was about as clean as you could get. Frustrated that the refs threw him out so fast but he needs to control his anger a little better. John Henson played a unbelievable game after that however.

I know we get frustrated with Ellis at times, but the person we need to be most upset with is Ersan Ilyasova. He has been probably the worst starter in the NBA up to this point. He isn't scoring at all and can't hit the ocean if he was standing on a boat, but he isn't even playing any defense or rebounding at all either. He needs to figure it out or Henson and Sanders should start to steal more min from him.

The refs are the reason I don't follow basketball at all. It just seems to Mr that they impact the sport more than any other refs dining other sports. Its sickening. As you alludes to, if your a stud your getting the call.

Edit. Typed from my phone, not going back to fix the errors.

Maybe this will be a game that brings them together. Down 17 after 3, in Chicago...the bench brings them back to win by 1. Even had some adversity at the end with a blatant no call on Ersan and then a turnover up one with 8 seconds left. But they held on for the win....impressive.

Edit - Sorry, meant to add the down 27 with 3 min left in the third. Also, that missed foul on Ersan really made me mad, he got just drilled, you could see the marks on his arm/chest, no call and then we couldn't get the ball in there. Horribly bad missed call that could have cost us the game. This would have been an incredibly deflating loss after the comeback, glad it worked out in the end.

Awesome game. Can't believe they came back. Can't believe I didn't turn it off.

Anyone else notice that when Monta Ellis guarded Rip Hamilton the last two nights he basically turned back time and made Rip look like the player he was 10 years ago?

Doron Lamb comes in and basically shuts him down. Ellis has added nothing positive to Milwaukee since the trade. Nothing. They need to find a way to get rid of him.

Skiles has actually done a good job for the most part of playing the guys that are playing well as he knows there is a lot of talent on this team but does has limited options at guard. And yes Ellis is still a much better player than Lamb but I am certainly not opposed to giving Lamb more minutes as I can't see the Bucks giving Ellis the big bucks after this year so they will need a replacement.

Ellis has never been a good defender - he's an undersized 2 guard. And he does shoot a lot, but he can score, which is something this team was SORELY lacking last season.

Considering we gave them Bogut - who is once again hurt, I'm not complaining much. Especially since we got Udoh in the deal and he's been a solid contributer as well.

Ellis has a player option this offseason for like 12 million I think, so it's not entirely 100% he'll be a free agent. But if he does opt out, they won't bring him back - I assume they'd rather resign or match an offer for Jennings.

How rare it is to see NBA players playing team basketball like the Bucks bench did for the last 15 minutes of that game. The NBA has become a game dominated by physical freaks where strength trumps skill. Rarely is fundamental basketball played. I've always liked Udrih. He knows how to play the game and when he's in there he involves the entire team.

Lamb looks like a player too.

Scoring doesn't mean anything if you can't score efficiently and Ellis can't. Well he could if he decided to attack the basket more instead of settling for 3's and long 2's the worst shot in basketball but he will always settle for those shots.

What a great game last night. I really like Doron Lamb, he played w/ incredible composure down the stretch. It was also nice to see Epke Udoh be more aggresive offensively.

I agree that Monta Ellis should be traded. He has the physical tools to be a great player, but is lacking on the mental part of the game. I think this team could be great w/ a 2 guard that is over 6'1" that can shoot from outside like Afflalo, Reddick or Wilson Chandler. Get it done Hammond.

1) Ellis is a terribly bad basketball player. Personally, I can't stand watching him. He could be something close to Rajon Rondo, but chooses to be Brickasaurus Rex.

2) The Bucks offense is NOT good. They score a lot because they play fast. They are middle of the pack efficiency wise.
