I'm thinking about taking my 3 1/2 year old daughter to the Bucks game on Saturday night. I'm wondering if other parents think that might be too early or do you think I should give it a shot. I'm having a hard time deciding.

Sanders actually looks like he can play. They are sort of force feeding Harris right now at the SF, but playing with the first unit should help his development. The key to the team is the 2nd unit which can be a strength if Dunleavy and Udrih stay healthy. The bigs on the 2nd unit are pretty interchangeable but they need those two to provide offense.

The most disappointing so far? Ilyasova. Typical Buck move to give a journeyman like that a 5 year contract after a couple good months and then have him fall off.

I personally think that's too early to take any kid to any sporting event. They aren't likely to care at all about the game.

I wish he would be a little more selfish and try to score more because Skiles for whatever reason isn't giving him a lot of minutes. If he scored more and became more aggressive on the offensive end it would be more difficult to sit him.

I'm starting to get optimistic about this team, but lets see where they sit after these next few weeks. There next 10 games look like this:

Hornets

@ Charlotte

@ Miami

Chicago

@ Chicago

New York

@ Minn

Boston

@ Hornets

@ Spurs

They go 5-5 or better through that and we may be on to something. So far they've just beaten up on some bad teams and beat Boston in a game where Boston shot about 35%.

Watching the Bulls tonight and they look bad. Bucks may win the division with 41 wins.

The entire division is just a joke.

After tonight's game; the next 2 weeks will show a lot about this team. If they go and beat Chicago in the home and home; then you have to feel awfully good about this team. They would get home court in the first round against probably a very mediocre team. Of course they will aren't going to the Finals or anything like that but there is a dearth of quality teams in the East this year. Miami, New York, and ?. Milwaukee might be that third teams competing with Brooklyn & Boston.

The Bucks are probably capable of beating anyone; however I don't want to get my hopes up because they are also capable of getting beat by anyone. They are a very hot & cold team.

Agreed, the Eastern Conference as a whole is terrible. The Bucks only have 27 out of 74 games remaining vs. teams with a > .500 record. Somebody has to get hot eventually, but the Bucks could easily win 45-50 if they stay healthy.

The big picture is they need to get in the playoffs to get the public engaged and interested in funding a new arena. Way too early to speculate on their playoff chances, but everything from the 3-4 seed down looks wide open.

MONTA HAD 31! HE HAD 31! HE HAD 31!!!!!!

That's great!

Nope. Not on 28 shots. Not with 5 assists to 6 turnovers.

My god. Why do people think he is GOOD?

He shot 50% on the game. He should be shooting.

He hit 2 cold blooded shots against NO on Saturday. Does he shoot to much at times? Yup. But this is who he is, and on a team that struggles to score at times and a team that plays great defense I have no problem with it.

This is not the game to blame Ellis for the loss, Jennings just had one of those games where he ends up shooting 5-18. They should still be fine but it is going to happen every once in a while because Jennings/Ellis are pretty much always going to shoot the most.

Ellis took 28 shots and had TWO freethrow attempts.

He could get to the rim ANYTIME he wanted last night. He decided to jack up 20 footers. He was 8 for 9 in the paint. He was 4 for 19 (hmm, worse than Jennings) everywhere else on the court.

Also, down 2, full timeout, 19 seconds left, they don't manage to get a shot off until 5 seconds left on the clock?

The problem was that when they were down 2, the guy that wound up shooting the jumper was Dalembert. Really? Why was he even on the floor? And why is he taking a shot to tie the game int he last 10 seconds? That was poor coaching. You can't have an offenseive liability on the floor when you MUST score to not lose.

The reason we struggle to score is because we employ low ts% chuckers in the backcourt. I can live with Jennings because he's an ok defender and a much better outside shooter, but I can't stand watching Monta play. An efficient, low usage SG would do wonders for this team.

ANYTIME Monta shoots a long 2 it's a loss for the Bucks. Smart teams like SA, Mia, and OKC employ their whole defensive strategy around that premise.
