I agree, that was an unexpected crowd for this game, but they were into it good the whole time.

 

In the car on the way home I heard the 1250 WSSP guys debating that Braun should have been able to get the double in the 7th, that he wasn't trying hard enough. That's pretty silly to me, I'm pretty sure the whole stadium knew it was a hit off of the bat. Of course, they were also complaining that the crowd didn't seem good, so I don't give their opinion on the night much credence.

Ugh, the bazillionth reason why I strive to avoid talk radio, even on a sports topic that interests me. We tolerated a few minutes of the TMJ postgame show last night just to hear some of the highlights again.

 

Tuesday's game was in the Sunday Plus 20-pack, a package we've had since 2008. This is the package that brings in the bobblehead enthusiasts and what I sometimes call the ADHD crowd (at least in our section - people can't stay put and pick the weirdest in-game times to move around in front of us. Apologies to persons who are ADHD diagnosed). The fans around us were into this game in a way that I rarely see from our Sunday Plus seats. It was nice.
