I would imagine Maholm is the bigger piece of the trade here.

 

Your point is still probably correct, although I think it's a very good risk for the Cubs to take. Pre-surgery Vizcaino was looked at as a better prospect than Delgado.

Maholm has been lights out over the last month+. doesnt he have an ERA of 1.00? pretty nuts, seeing how he hasnt been that dominant since... his rookie year? or am I thinking of Zack Duke? Either way, Cubs rolled the dice with him, and it looks like they won that gamble
