One of the best decisions I've ever made...was joining Brewerfan.net

There was also the guy who claimed Brian was trying to sell the website to someone and therefore deleted posts that were critical of Brewer management.

How about the time we got cited as the source for the rumor that Adam Dunn was being traded to Milwaukee… even though we weren't the source?

As far as an Amnesty Day, it wouldn't be much fun. We've only had three bans since we've moved to the new system. Previously banned members don't have logins.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

So banned members from the old system can rejoin us anytime they like? Do they know this???

If they didn't, they do now. Way to go :)

This thread makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, just like rainbows, unicorns and lemurs.

Actually, the names are all in the database. There's little to no difference between being banned and not yet being "reunited."

Our screening process normally keeps banned members from getting back in. So far, nobody's tried since the migration. This system makes them easier to spot because we have access to more information.

Big brother doesn't work! I'm half of the posters on this board! :tongue

On a serious note, BF.net was the first forum I ever joined. Then decided to join a couple others for other topics... Wow... lets just say, I stick to here and LL.net.

That has been my impression as well, RobDeer45 :)

Browsing through this thread, I feel like I've missed so much in the last few years. Makes me want to stay all the more.

Brewerfan.net is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're going to get.

I joined after the Brewers.com forum just got to be way too "non-moderated" (they've since changed format)

And I'm a proud starter of a WOAH SOLVDD thread.

I'm sad I missed out on the Hendrickson stuff... woulda been fun

You knew me as Myday2001.

I'd have to say the most memorable thread for me was the one where a poster claimed to know more about baseball than the rest of us because he "played in college". After some detective work, Brian found out that the poster was on the practice squad briefly one year.

Most memorable game thread was the grilled cheese game.
