So, now "dead arm" is an actual injury?

i'm sure we'll learn more in the coming hours, but rogers' fifth rehab outing did not go well. he left the game with the huntsville trainer leading him to the dugout.

Here's a tweet on Rogers' outing:

Rogers faced two batters, threw nine pitches (one strike), gave up a homer, walk. Left the game after falling behind Fernando Martinez 2-0.

I feel bad for the guy. He's likely done. I always hoped he'd do well.

This is obviously not a good sign. You have to wonder if there was an injury that he suffered at some point this offseason which he didn't disclose and which led him to come into camp with a "dead arm"

I don't think that necessarily is good news, though. I think we're going to need to wait for the test results to come back before we breathe any sighs of relief.

good news is that I believe this would allow the brewers to reset his rehab, right?

He was recalled from his rehab assignment today, but remains on the DL. So I'm assuming that's what happens now.

From what I've read the 'clock' stops.. it is not reset. He should have about 15 days left.
