Wolf vs Halladay? Cesar Izturis?

We'll win this one, somehow.

You forgot about .284 OBP Gomez against a RHP once against batting in front of Braun. The Brewers are actually favorites today, though.

Good point about Gomez. I don't like seeing him in the lineup against any RHP.

I say bat Gomez leadoff every day the rest of the year. We are not playing for anything anymore this year. It will solidify our good draft pick for next year. Good to see our manager thinking about the future of our franchise. At least somebody making decisions seems to be.

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.

If they win this game, I could see DM and or RR coming out and saying something to the effect of

"Well, we went out and beat a Cy young pitcher and this is the type of game that can turn a season around..."

To all major league teams

Don't miss this chance to trade for Randy Wolf ......He is hitting his groove. Don't let the competition beat you to the punch.

Do whatever you need to do to acquire this difference maker while you still can!

I will be sitting by my phone waiting to take your offers after the game.

Your friend...Doug Melvin.
