you are welcome to nix this thread, I didnt know where else to put these questions. I just thought that so of you experts could help me out a little.

1. is lamontange still a brewer?

2. is bucci going to play this season?

3. any word/reason why heckathorn is a reliever now?

4. on that thread any word if arnett will be given a chance to start again?

5. am i the only person excited that kentrail davis is finally hitting?!

RHP Andre Lamontagne, the once-promising 2009 11th round pick out of Oral Roberts (turned 26 last March) was listed in the Brewers media guide to begin the season. He missed all of 2011 with what the Brewers listed as right shoulder bursitis.

MiLB.com lists him currently on the team's "reserve list". That is such a nebulous term, we don't even think MiLB knows what it means. So the answer to your first question is a very vague and puzzled look.

Nick Bucci just began a rehab assignment in Maryvale.

Heckathorn -- well, starting wasn't working out so well.

No word, no -- you'll notice that even Arnett's relief stints, perhaps until very recently, were in low-leverage situations.

Kentrail's going to need prolonged success to convince many.

I understand that, but it wasnt 'that' bad, and we've seen the brewers give much worse players with much less stuff/talent much longer leashes. Given that, I thought maybe he was fatigued or something, I had really high hopes for the guy coming into this year, thought he might find and Kout pitch finally.

For those wondering (and for those who can help), here are some others among the missing.

Normally Baseball America keeps us posted on any releases, and these players were officially Brewers as recently as the spring because they are listed in the team's 2012 media guide.

RHP Rolando Pascual (yes, that Rolando Pascual -- amazingly, this would be year seven in the system, making him eligible for minor league free agency in the fall)

LHP Dane Amedee (missed all of 2011 also)

I'm guessing that LHP Mike Ramlow (2nd consecutive idle year and another eligible for free agency in the fall) and RHP Jameson Dunn are still with the organization, but are rehabbing 2011 shoulder injuries.

FYI -- OF Ronny Puello still listed by MiLB.com as "restricted"
