Carlos is back in the starting rotation for Jays and has posted back to back outings where he hasn't allowed a run.

 

He's a FA to be this year and will be 29 in November. It will be interesting to see what he gets in FA assuming the Jays don't sign him. Will he be paid as a veteran middle reliever or as a guy with starter potential? I'm still aggravated the Brewers let him go for nothing a couple years ago. Would they be tempted to try and bring him back as they have needs in both areas?

When the Brewers dumped Villanueva for nothing, it was perplexing, to say the least. I know that he was Machaed, but he had been fired by that point, hadn't he?

Bringing back Villanueva wouldn't be a half-bad idea.
