Somebody joked in a different thread (about Yost batting Betancourt 5th for KC) that at least RR isn't as bad as Yost. While that may still be true, playing a .278 OBP guy in the two-hole is as indefensible as it gets. Gomez must be like 2-5 in his career off Lynn or some other odd justification.

Sadly, GoGo is 0-1. But it was a 7 pitch AB, so there is that.

For some reason, I'm very excited about this series. I really think we could be on the brink. I know I'll turn the game on at 7:34 and we'll be down 6-0, but at least for the next 1.5 hours I'll be optimistic and excited.

Joey Votto out 3-4 weeks. That could be huge.

Get em tonight Crew! Need game one.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Hey, he's not leading off at least. Progress.... or something.

Boy, it would be nice to have a reliable bullpen in a game like this. Last year, these kinds of games were awesome since it always seemed like the Crew would win. This year....
