Alex Cohen is the new play-by-play voice of the Stars; follow him on Twitter @alexmcohen. It's fantastic that Huntsville is returning to what will be a traditional broadcast format this year. All games, home and away, are scheduled to be broadcast.

Brevard County: RHP Drew Gagnon at St. Lucie (Mets), 5:30 PM gametime

Once again this season, Brevard does not have its own audio coverage. It appears two teams in the Manatees North Division (within which the majority of games are played) have audio, and all six teams in the South Division have audio (at least for their home games), so there will be opportunities to listen to approx. 70% or Brevard's games this season, just all from the opponent's perspective. There are no Florida State League games on MiLB.TV this year.

**********

Wisconsin: RHP Mark Williams at Fort Wayne (Padres), 5:45 PM pre-game, 6:05 gametime

Chris Mehring is back to do his customary fantastic work as the Voice of the Rattlers. Follow him on Twitter @CMehring; we'll link to Chris' infamous blog often -- Rattler Radio.

MiLB.TV -- for subscribers; Wisconsin is one of only two (Great Lakes) Midwest League clubs that have all their home games available via MiLB.TV; Chris' call provides the audio. So for the $39.95 season-long package, fans in Brewer Nation can watch all Sounds games, all Timber Rattlers home games, and Stars' road games from four Southern League locales, plus one July Helena series (11th-13th).

Here's a nice article about longtime Brewer farmhand LHP Sam Narron, in his new role as a pitching coach in the Nationals' system.

It won't matter to anyone but me, but the manager alongside Narron is Gary Cathcart - we would have been high school classmates (same home town, I'm four days older), except that he attended a local Catholic high school. He topped out at AAA in the Yankees' system.

Final: DSL Angels 3, DSL Brewers 1

DSL Brewers Box Score

If BA covered the DSL the only 2 starting pitchers on the Brewers' staff that wouldn't be in the "Man Among Boys" section would be Ortega and Rizzo. Don't get me wrong, all the pitching success is nice, but being 21 years old in the DSL means you're about 3 years behind the development curve. At any rate, Juan Santiago was fantastic once again and was the tough luck loser here going 6 innings allowing 6 hits, no walks, 1 run, and no earned runs while striking out 6. Miguel Diaz had a tough 7th allowing the 2 runs which put the game away. Joshua Torres pitched a clean frame to close it out.

The bats just didn't do much today scoring just 1 run off of 7 hits. Francisco Castillo channeled his all-star mojo into a 2-4 effort, but managed to get picked off of 1st base as well. The only other multi-hit game came from Alejandro Mendoza who went 2-3 during the contest. No batter had a walk or an XBH of any kind. The Brewers also committed 4 errors in the contest.

Final: Wisconsin 4, Fort Wayne 7

Fort Wayne holds off Rattlers

By Chris Mehring / Wisconsin Timber Rattlers

FORT WAYNE, IN - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers trailed 7-2 heading to the top of the ninth inning on Monday night at Parkview Field. The Rattlers scored two runs and had the tying run at the plate, but the Fort Wayne TinCaps held on for a 7-4 win. Wisconsin wrapped up their six game road trip to the Eastern Division with a 3-3 record.

Tyler Stubblefield hit a solo homer with one out in the bottom of the first inning to put the TinCaps (44-50 overall, 13-11 second half) in front 1-0.

Cameron Garfield got the Rattlers (56-37, 12-12) back to even with a solo homer in the top of the second inning.

Wisconsin took the lead in the third inning. Chadwin Stang doubled with one out and took third base on a wild pitch. Lance Roenicke drove in Stang with a sacrifice fly to left for a 2-1.

But, Fort Wayne rallied to take the lead in the bottom of the third inning. Felix Cabrera singled and Travis Jankowski doubled to start the inning. Mike Gallic drove in Cabrera with a grounder to short to tie the game. A two-out double by Yeison Asencio sent Jankowski home with a run to put the TinCaps in front 3-2. A single by Duanel Jones capped the inning and made it 4-2.

Cabrera would homer in the fifth inning and the TinCaps lead was pushed to 5-2.

Fort Wayne added two more runs in the bottom of the seventh inning. Mike Gallic singled in Jankowski from second with one out. Gallic would steal second and be on the move to third base on a pitch to Asencio. Asencio sent a grounder to second for the second out, but Gallic never stopped runner and beat the throw to the plate for a 7-2 lead.

The Rattlers batters went without reaching base from a one out walk to Garfield in the fourth inning to a leadoff double by Roenicke in the ninth. Then, the Rattlers scraped together a rally to bring the tying run to the plate in the ninth.

Brandon Macias followed the Roenicke double with an RBI single, his 47th RBI this season. The Rattlers would load the bases with one out on an error and a walk and the TinCaps went to Matt Stites, their closer with the tying run coming to the plate.

Mike Garza drove in Macias with a fielder's choice after a force out at second base to get the Rattlers to within 7-4. But, Stites got a strikeout to end the game.

The Timber Rattlers are off on Tuesday before returning to action at Time Warner Cable Field at Fox Cities Stadium on Wednesday night. The Timber Rattlers begin a series with the Great Lakes Loons at 7:05pm on Wednesday. Chad Thompson (4-2, 4.84) is the scheduled starting pitcher for the Rattlers. Raydel Sanchez (3-4, 4.03) is set to start for the Loons.

The Milwaukee Brewers have announced that catcher Jonathan Lucroy is tentatively scheduled to be on a rehabilitation assignment with the Timber Rattlers from Thursday, July 19 through Sunday, July 22. Tickets are available for all six games of the homestand, including the four appearances by Lucroy. Farris, Rogers Lead Sounds Past Express, 3-1

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Mark Rogers turned in a solid start and Eric Farris belted a two-run homer to lead the Nashville Sounds to a 3-1 victory over the Round Rock Express on Monday evening at Greer Stadium in the opener of a four-game series.

Rogers (5-6) continued his dominant pitching in home contests, holding the Express to one run on four hits over seven innings of work -- his fifth quality start of the year. He struck out six batters while walking only one during his 99-pitch effort.

With the solid effort, the right-hander improved to 3-2 with a 2.98 ERA (16er/48.1ip) in his nine starts at Greer this year (2-4, 7.07 in eight road outings).

Nashville pitchers combined to hold Round Rock to only four hits while striking out 10 batters in the contest.

The Sounds got on the board in the second when Andy Gonzalez and Taylor Green led off the frame with consecutive doubles against Round Rock starter Ben Snyder.

· AUDIO: Taylor Green Go-Ahead Double

Second baseman Eric Farris (2-for-4) upped the Nashville lead to 3-0 in the third when he slugged his second home run of the year, a two-run shot to left off Snyder. Catcher Dayton Buller (2-for-3), who led off the inning with an opposite-field double to right-center, also scored on the one-out blast.

· AUDIO: Eric Farris Two-Run HR

Round Rock jumped on the board in the seventh with a two-out rally against Rogers. After the first two batters were retired, Joey Butler reached on an infield single and raced around to score when Ryan Spilborghs ripped an RBI double to deep right-center to make it a 3-1 contest.

Jesus Sanchez worked a perfect eighth for the Sounds before closer Jim Henderson struck out the side in the ninth to nail down his 12th save of the season.

Snyder (2-4) drew the loss for the Express after allowing all three Nashville runs in his five innings of work.

Outfielder Caleb Gindl went 0-for-4 to snap the Sounds' longest active hitting streak at six games.

The teams continue the series with another 7:05 p.m. meeting on Tuesday. Right-hander Brian Baker (2-3, 5.33) returns to the Nashville rotation with his first start for the Sounds since June 29th. Round Rock will counter with right-hander Greg Reynolds (7-6, 5.01).

Nashville Box Score

I had a chance to listen to a game for the first time in quite a while and it just happened to be another Mark Rogers start. I was a tad worried when he walked the first batter on 4 straight pitches but that was pretty much it until the 7th. The rest of his pitching line not mentioned in the game story; 4H, 65 of 99 pitches for strikes, and a 7:4 ratio. Jesus Sanchez remained perfect in Nashville with his scoreless frame, and what else can I say about Jim Henderson except isn't it time he gets a shot?

Eric Farris and Dayton Buller had the only multi-hit games, all of the XBHs were covered in the game story. Taylor Green was nabbed trying to steal a base and Edwin Maysonet committed his 3rd error.

Nashville Play By Play

It was an incredibly quick game, just over 2 hours, not much action beyond the game story.
