Would love to see an 8 inning gem from Yo tonight, along with that, score about 8-9 runs. f we can get by with a 9 run lead by the time we get to the bullpen in the 9th inning, I think we MIGHT be able to come away with a victory...but then again, 9 runs may not be enough...

I know Roenicke loves the bunt but I'm sick of all this bunting with 2 strikes crap. Yo is a good hitter and isn't a very good bunter, at least not this year (though he's not hitting much this year either). Let him swing away.

Why was Gallardo batting? I know the bullpen is terrible, but he's already at 108 pitches, are we really going to try and squeeze another inning out of him? Especially after he was losing command in the 6th?

Im guessing RRR had planned on starting him for the bottom of the 7th to save the bullpen but now with a 6 run lead it *might* be safe to turn it over to the pen.

Why would Lowrie be afraid or worried about leading off next inning?

 

RR doesn't have the stones to throw at anyone, so what's the big deal...Lowrie will probably dig in and park one.
