Again, this bullpen is not playoff material. Sell please. I know Melvin said he'd wait until after the next 4 series but I don't see a reason for that. Even if they end up winning the division/wildcard (which is highly highly unlikely), they would probably lose the 1st round against a quality playoff team. They might as well start taking offers now to maximize any return.
This is Jack Burton in the Pork Chop Express, and I'm talkin' to whoever's listenin' out there.

If nothing changes here, this is going to be the most unsatisfying split of a 4 game series I can ever remember. My interest in this team is lower than it was on some of the Brewers terrible teams of the early 2000's. Other than Fiers, there really isn't any young guys playing that you can get excited about. The one position player (Green), never even plays.

The Marlins have a different perspective of this series. It could easily have been a 4 game sweep of the Brewers, except for the Bell blown save on Tuesday and the pathetic defense ruining Zambrano's outing on Monday.

From an objective perspective, it's two mediocre teams splitting a poorly played series.

That's really a great way to look at it. Neither team looks playoff caliber at all right now.

I wasn't suggesting the Brewers deserved to sweep. The fact remains is that the Brewers split after taking the first two, and the Marlins salvaged a split after losing the first two. Both teams are going to the same place, however (no where).

The Brewers are now 7.5 games back with three superior teams ahead of them in the standings by at least 5 games. It's getting extremely unlikely at this point with the quality of this team's roster to make a playoff run. The minor league system is still depleted. Finding a good buyer for Greinke is the best thing that could happen to this team right now.

I have felt that way for a few weeks now. It is nice to see Maldanado though. The worst part is that I don't think we even have much in the way of young players to look forward to like we did back then.

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.
