Cesar ... Do not pass go, do not collect $200, just go home

I'd give him the $200 if it meant he would never come back.

This is Jack Burton in the Pork Chop Express, and I'm talkin' to whoever's listenin' out there.

I forgot about the DH. That would be the best spot for Braun. Too bad he isn't in the home run derby, although this year it's probably better that he stays out it.

The Marlins' announcers think that McCutchen will start the ASG ahead of Braun. Knowing LaRussa, they are probably right.

If they still have the two knobs that used to yell, "His name is Dan Uggla!" I wouldn't put much stock into their intel

They've gotten more serious this year now that the Marlins are trying to be a real major league team. To their credit, they have done their homework on the Brewers and generally have nice things to say about Milwaukee and the team. Except for Nyjer Morgan. The best comment of the night was them saying that Gaby Sanchez decking Morgan was "one of the highlights of his career".

This just in: With izturis in the game, GoGo also covers fly balls to the SS ... Awesome

That wasn't the easiest ball to get to for anybody. If the CF can get to a ball, he has priority over everybody (within reason, of course - he's not going to take a can of corn away from the RF, for example).

To be fair that is probably the highlight of Gaby Sanchez's career.
