I'm at the point with Izturis where I honestly wonder if they'd be any worse starting pretty much anybody that can walk at SS. Izturis is hitting .194/.218/.235 this season; would an average hitter/-50 fielding SS be worse than Izturis? It would certainly be entertaining!

If Green is going to ride the bench and/or struggle to get it going with the Brewers, I wonder if it would be worth it to consider molding him into a super utility guy in AAA for a couple months? Ramirez and Weeks are probably both around at least next season; if Green could play OF, 2B, 1B, and 3B adequately he could be a very solid super sub type guy.

At least i wont have to endure Daron Sutton tonight. Thats about the only silver lining about having to watch FSN AZ. I would have rather been at the games this weekend but unexpected surgery got in the way :/

Well, I tuned in at just the right time. My growing and now noticeable level of apathy is making me sad. In fact, I think I'm just gonna check out for the night.

I think if we learned anything on Wedenesday afternoon it's that the Brewers best chance to win is when Braun is on the bench.

If/ when Marcum is back would anyone else like to see Fiers and Estrada kept in the rotation and Wolf moved to the bullpen? Why keep Wolf in a spot that is not helping the team when he will not be back next year?

Wolf's option will get picked up. There are not 3 good starter in the minors who really deserve a spot in the rotation next year. $8.5m is a small price to pay for one year of service time for a pitcher.

Sure Wolf has had some bad starts but he isn't a terrible pitcher.

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.

Is this supposed to be in blue? Randy Wolf's ERA is going to be almost 6. In July. Currently he is a bad pitcher. And $8.5M is a lot more than a small price to pay.
