When will they realize that Parra is just a LOOGY. The man just doesnt get right handed hitters out.

I don't agree. There's very little difference between Parra's RHB/LHB career splits.

Now, if you just want to say he's not good, I can agree with that.

Or lefties for that matter.

Lefties have a .279 OBP vs. Parra this year. Just sayin'.

I know, refering to the fact he walked Dunn. Parra is night and day when it comes to lefities vs righties this year.

Gomez just had a better ab than Green. Not sure if I should be laughing or calling for Green to be DFA'D.

I think we have all probably tended to have high hopes for Green over the last year that probably aren't ever going to come to fruition. I think he's probably a AAAA/24th/25th man guy.

I never really saw Green being nothing more than a platoon guy coming into this season. He is what he is and that is a utility player and probably nothing more than that.

I suppose the only silver lining here is that I'm getting more and more comfortable writing Fiers into the back end of the rotation next season. This team needs someone to greatly exceed expectations in the majors; hopefully Fiers can do this and become a 3.75 ERA type. Maybe that's just foolish optimism though.

Fiers is not a pitcher who is going to give you a 3.75 ERA that is wishful thinking. Fiers is a 4.00-5.00 ERA type of a pitcher which is basically your average to above average #4 or #5 starter. A year where Fiers gives you a 3.75 ERA will be a career year and probably would never be repeated again. If you want to look at what type of a pitcher Fiers is you only need to look at Josh Collementer. He had a career year last year in terms of his numbers but came back down to earth this year. Basically this is what is going to happen to Fiers next year as he will come back down to earth and you will see him at that 4-5 ERA.

Fiers is a 100% control pitcher and when his control is not on he is going to look a lot like Jeff Suppan.

Does any team in MLB have a worse bullpen than we do?

If so, can you imagine following a team that is worse?

This is pure hell.

Well, they have the 9th best FIP in MLB. Not bad, not bad at all.... but they have the 3rd worst ERA.

Small sample size for sure but has Suppan ever have a season when he had a strikeout to walk ratio of 6 to 1? A whip of 1.11? Now I'm not saying this will continue for Fiers but so far so good.

Way too early to say Fiers will be Suppan. He is not a hard thrower but his stuff looks better. He is striking out almost 1 per inning. Suppan struck out about 5 per 9 innings for his career.
