2012-06-24 Brewers (Fiers) at White Sox (Quintana), 1:10 PM CDT [Brewers lose, 1-0, 10 innings]

Phew. Ok, one out to go (and then hopefully just four more).

with Kottaras/Ransom/Izturis coming up?

not very likely.

I'm hoping for a Kottaras walk, a Ransom K on a wild pitch, an Izturis sac bunt, an Aoki HBP, a Gomez sac fly, and a Braun salami (GRAND salami, you sickos).

Hmm. Kottaras is on first on the strikeout to Ransom, so Ransom is out on that strikeout even with the wild pitch. You'll need 2 wild pitches, one for George to advance first.

Well, you got your walk. Even though that was a bit of a gift. And technically, Braun's HR is only a garden variety 3 run sausage in the scenario you describe.

Every called strike on us is infuriating to me because they are all much worse pitches than the 0-2 pitch to Dunn in the 8th. That pitch made me think that the umpire needed to prevent the 3rd out to protect the Queen.

(Somebody please get the reference)!

Frank Drebin was a better ump than some of what I've seen this year.

Nicely done, and very fast response time!

Gomez just had a better ab than Green. Not sure if I should be laughing or calling for Green to be DFA'D.

I think we have all probably tended to have high hopes for Green over the last year that probably aren't ever going to come to fruition. I think he's probably a AAAA/24th/25th man guy.
