How many hangers does Loe need to throw before he is pulled.

Didnt Saito get out of one of these jams vs AZ last year? Of course last year everything bounced or way so now Veras will hit the batter with his first pitch

There was no reason, NONE what-so-ever, for Parra to come out after the way he pitched.

RR SUCKS, plain and simple. He can't manage the line-up, and he can't manage the bullpen when it really matters.

He needs to be fired.

I'd turn this off, but I am starting to enjoy the pain.

There is no possible chance Veras can pull something out of his butt here, game over.

A good manager needs to handle each situation differently, not just use the best "average" move at all times. Maybe most of the time Wolf should be pulled but not every time because he "becomes" a 5+ ERA pitcher after 7 innings. If he is pitching well and not losing speed or location the averages should be thrown out the window.

This is exactly what Grady Little was thinking in '03. And it rightly cost him his job.

Grady Little watched Pedro give up three straight hits with a pitch count around 105 when he let him continue. Topper is referring to Wolf being pulled between innings with 95 pitches, looking very in control. Of course, Pedro was a much better pitcher than Wolf. I don't know whether I agree or disagree with the decision, but the Grady/Pedro comparison sorta seems like a reach.

Against the Giants a while back Parra pitched 2 good innings in extras then they pulled him for a pinch hitter with 2 outs and nobody on. I thought that was a mistake but at least you're pulling him for a hitter. Here there's a DH so no reason not to let Parra stay in indefinitely. And they pull him after a 9 pitch inning. Really unfathomable. I get tired of all the RR bashing but there's nothing you can say tonight. The Royals' first extra inning win all year.

RR is a knob.

I hope someone asks him why he pulled Parra there...

Those post game press conferences let him off the hook far too easliy.

RR is an absolute train-wreck of a manager.

I can not stomach this much longer.

Hitting Conrad last night and pulling Parra tonight just add to the long list of blunders by this clown. (I am not foolish enough to think it was a lock that Maldonado comes through last night, but he surely had a better chance than Conrad)
