Sometimes I have no clue what Roenicke is thinking. Brooks Conrad is your best RH bench bat, as sad as that may be. You have two relatively strong LH bench bats in Green and Kottaras (though Kottaras might draw a walk needing you to burn another player to run). For his career Conrad has hit .206/.280/.402 from the left side. You hit Conrad as a lefty, both making your RH bench options much worse and being the worst LH option you have.
