You know Rickie's struggling when the Cubs walk Ramirez, who hasn't played in 4 days, to face him.

LOL - right ... and I would pretty much walk almost anybody on this team if it meant I got to pitch to Weeks. He is horrible this year. Hopefully this AB is where it changes.

It's been depressing to watch Weeks perform so poorly for this first 200 AB this year. I can handle when a guy like Izturis or Gomez hits poorly since I expect them to. They are what they are at this point. I usually take it for granted that Weeks is going to be a major part of this offense, however. For him to struggle so mightily for no apparent reason is just frustrating.

I keep hearing that stat about the Brewers not losing a game with a lead in the 8th inning since July of last year or something... but hasn't K-Rod blown 3 games for us this year on his own? And Axford a couple? Maybe I'm not listening closely enough to what that stat is.

It does need to be pointed out, that is one situation where the sacrifice bunt helped the Brewers out in the 8th inning. Aoki doesn't score on a GR Double.

(That's assuming he doesn't advance to second if Gomez strikes out / puts the ball in play, of course.)

I can't wait for Lucroy to come back so Maldonaldo can go back down to AAA. His defense is great but man is he a horrible hitter. I think he is worse than past Brewers back up catchers.

The stat is 66 consecutive wins when they have the lead through 7. Even on the games K-Rod and Ax have blown a save, we still won the game in the end. The losses they both have, the games were tied when they entered.

K-Rod and Ax have blown games, but we always come back and win them.

Aoki is quickly becoming one of my favorite Brewers.

Same here!

The guy truly looks like he enjoys playing the game. How refreshing.

If ever there was a reason to consider playing Aoki every day in RF, this is it!
