TLB, how can you possibly not be excited to see whether Brooks Conrad can break his streak of 37 PA's without a single hit on a ball in play? I'm also curious to see how long he can go with a wRC+ <0.

Well, now that you put it like that...

What a difference a year makes. About this time last year I was starting to get more and more pumped about this team. No I am starting to care less and less, which is sad.

Zack toss a complete game shut-out to get that trade value as high as possible!

WHAT? Gomez leading off. Are you nuts RRR? That's it, I'm done with the Brewers forever, I just can't put up with the stupidity. Huh? Oh, wait. Oops. I guess Aoki is leading off and Gomez is batting 2nd. Never mind.

Just so I understand, yesterday Gomez bats leadoff against a righty and Aoki second. Today, Gomez bats second against a lefty and Aoki leadoff. Is that correct and if so, what am I missing? Not suggesting it matters much in the grand scheme of things but it's hurting my head trying to figure out RR's logic.

Someone (I think it was Haudricourt) asked RR why the flip-flop (Aoki first, Gomez second), he was kind of cryptic and said "I can't tell you some of why."

He basically said Aoki will see more pitches and get on base more, but there are "little reasons he'd rather not say." Interesting.

Gomez bunts better against LHP. Aoki bunts better against RHP. Duh!

I'm not sure whether that should be in blue.

I think Brooks Conrad forgot that he had a glove there for a moment I can't remember seeing a player attempt to grab a grounder like that with his bare hand. Hopefully A-Ram is healthy and playing tomorrow.

So Greinkeis having a good game....
