Green ahead of Weeks in the lineup is rather interesting as well. It would be nice if Green had a game to try and force the issue for more PT a 3-3 with a HR, 2B and a BB sort of thing.

The Gomez start against a righty is embarrassing on a number of levels. Relying on small sample batter vs pitcher data, batting a guy with a miserably bad obp leadoff even without the platoon advantage. I know RR has a crush on Gomez but this is just insane.

And doesn't Weeks and Gomez have the same OBP this year anyway?

Walks continuing to kill Yo. He has the stuff, I wish he would just challenge hitters more instead of nibbling so much.

DPR?

I also have no clue what this means.

It's dumb and better to just not know. But it is a reference to Roenicke.

I know there's a lot of season left but I just don't have confidence in this team. I say they start looking to trade at least Greinke in the next few weeks to see if they can get more of a haul than they would at the end of July. Teams would probably be willing to give up a little more to get that extra month's worth of starts.

Isn't this supposed to be the easy part of the schedule when we get back into the race?

Seems it doesn't matter who we play....we stink against pretty much everybody other then the Dodgers.

Dempster dominating as usual......
