Strong pet peeve of mine: walking hitters with a multi-run lead.

especially when you let them trot down to second right after the walk. What is the worst Dee Gordon could do with a John Axford fastball right down the middle? Hit a double

"Ok, guys. We've won two games in a row. If we win tonight, its called a winning streak. It HAS happened before. So lets see some hustle, Lets jack it up a little. I got a feeling things are about to turn around for us" - Lou Brown

When I think of Major League quotes for this team, it's when I look at the lineup and say, "Who are these [flippin'] guys?"

Is this series reminding anyone of the Florida series last year? Sleepwalking team rolls into a place where they usually struggle only to rattle off 4 in a row? Hope it happens tonight.

Small crowd last night...game lasted forever so I got home late. Had a great time surrounded by a bunch of cool Dodgers fans. Don't want to give the wrong impression of all of them just because some drunks started mouthing off and tossing an orange slice. I just wish people would get a clue when there are kids around. A young girl next to me got really peeved about it and told an usher. I guess I've seen the same things at the old County Stadium, but still hate to see it.

It felt like a cloud had moved over the stadium last night as word of Kemp's injury started to filter around. I was in the bathroom (they have the radio piped in there) when Scully mentioned what happened with the hammy and breaking the bat...there was quite the groan. Ethier is playing out of his mind, but other than that I still wonder how this team won so many games. Their schedule was weak, the pitching has been good and Kemp was rolling...none of those seem completely sustainable, but they still have a good shot at that division given their lead. They are a good team, but certainly not as good as their record.

The Brewers seem to be getting some energy back. Solid starts, back half of the bullpen looking good, ARam starting to pitch in, better defense (Ransom & Maldonado look good out there). Hope they can keep it going.

I didn't have the kids last night so I actually got to check in on the thread which was fun. Thanks for the updates since I didn't have replay. Sorry to say I can't make it tonight...I have to turn them back over to Brewer Nation...keep it rolling folks! Adios from SoCal.
